Robert Monteux joins the team as an Online Marketing Strategist. Although not technically a Maine native, Robert spent all his summers growing up in Maine at his family’s summer cabin in Hancock before moving to Maine in 1986. He and his wife, and 2 cats, live in Monmouth on the shore of Lake Annabessacook. Robert grew up in the theatre, working as an actor, dancer, choreographer and stage manager before returning to school and getting his MBA at the Thunderbird School of Global Management. Since then, he’s been a salesman, sales manager, management consultant, a hypnotist and life coach, and a marketing consultant. In his work in marketing, Robert became fascinated by the transformation of marketing tactics with the disruption of the Internet, and Inbound marketing in particular. This led him to a specified field of study to receive his certificate in Inbound Marketing.
“I wanted to help businesses better understand how to leverage content and social media marketing to bring customers into their stores”, Monteux shared. It was precisely this passion that made him an excellent fit for the Dream Local Digital team. “We take our client’s success very seriously,” said Dream Local Digital Founder and Client Success Officer Shannon Kinney, “and each Marketing Strategist really considers themselves part of the marketing teams of our clients. We need as many creative ideas as possible to grow their businesses, and Robert brings with him immense creativity and an understanding of this space”.
