Stan is responsible for the big picture at Dream Local, Inc. Stan spent most of his post-collegiate years working at the executive level in local newspaper chains, getting to know the small business owners in those communities. He’s been involved in several local and regional launches including Cars.com, PressofAtlanticCity.com, and Phillyburbs.com. After leaving the newspaper industry, Stan spent two years with Planet Discover, a start-up technology company providing search technology to media companies, as VP of Market Development. Most recently, he served as VP of Marketplace for Digital Press Consortium, a start-up media consulting group. Stan has a degree in Marketing from Rutgers University.
Steve Zimmers President & COO
Steve started the first chapter of his career by creating communication networks combined with ‘new media’ turn-key services that generated more than 70M dollars throughout the 1990’s for the benefit of media partners. Before the new century even began, Steve had already drafted his vision for the next decade by developing two different, but equally powerful communication networks. One network was established to leverage the power of ‘one’ volunteer, and ‘together’ with other volunteers, establish support ‘communities’ so that others in need may find support at anytime. And, the second network was developed and designed for emergency notification services and alerting technologies … which was filed for patent protection in 2000 … later granted a U.S. Patent … then followed by licensing … and “yada-yada-yada” there are more patents filed. NOW, with his eyes focused on the coming decade, Steve brings his network development skills, CRM experiences and intellectual property expertise to DreamLocal to help build a new social media for the human network that is LocalHabit.
