Emma grew up grew up in Tenants Harbor, ME. She lives there currently, but between leaving home and coming back, she’s lived in New Hampshire, the Czech Republic, and France. Emma is back on the mainland now from a summer working on Monhegan Island, which served as a much-needed pause from the fast-paced lifestyle she’s had since graduating from college.
Emma graduated from the University of New Hampshire in the spring of 2014 and earned her degree in International Affairs and European Cultural Studies. Following her passion for live music, and admiration for organizations dedicated to presenting approachable, affordable and cutting-edge performances and exhibitions to their communities, for the past two years Emma has dedicated her time working for emerging contemporary music and arts venues in the Portsmouth, NH area. It was there where she had her first experiences in marketing, though she also assisted in managing live events, and programming the spaces. Other than this work, she has always had one foot in foodservice.
On weekends, and from 5pm-8am daily, she can usually be found running outside, connecting with pals near and far, art-making, tarot reading, or ghost hunting. If there were one celebrity that she had to work with for the rest of her life, no matter what job she had, it would have to be Zach Galifianakis.
