Shannon Kinney, Founder, Client Success Officer
Shannon has over 15 years of experience in the development of successful Internet products, sales and marketing strategies. She has worked on the teams developing successful Internet brands such as cars.com, careerbuilder.com, and over 60 online media properties for newspapers all over the U.S. and Canada. Prior to that, she spent over 10 years in media sales and sales management in Maine. She is an experienced speaker, trainer, and consultant, and has worked with small and large companies alike. Shannon is considered an expert in the field of online marketing and social media, and speaks regularly at conferences on the subject. She serves as an advisor to many established and start-up companies, and local charitable groups such as the Maine Lobster Festival Committee. After spending many years away, Shannon is pleased to be again based in Maine, working with businesses to assist in their growth.
Molly Gray, Director of Sales and Operations
Molly’s enthusiastic personality has driven her toward and helped her be successful in customer service, general management, real estate and sales. Molly is originally from Bethel, Maine. She attended Gould Academy and then Jacksonville University in Florida for high school and her bachelor’s. She has lived in Midcoast Maine since 2007. Her career has led her not only to a variety of positions from sales and management in the hospitality industry, real estate, and being an entrepreneur; it’s also led her around the country to Florida and Colorado for some time. Dream Local Digital has been a fresh move forward for Molly. She’s excited to combine many of the skills she has obtained throughout her career and looks forward to working with future clients.
Alyssa Rolerson, Senior Project and Research Manager
Alyssa began at Dream Local Digital in April of 2010 as an intern and has since been promoted to Online Marketing Strategist and Project Manager. In May of 2012 she will receive her Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Maine at Augusta. Alyssa is born and raised in Maine, attended the University of New Haven for one and a half years before transferring to UMA. Alyssa has really enjoyed the transition from intern to Project Manager as it’s allowed her to get to know Dream Local Digital’s clients and internal process at a more detailed level.
Jason Andreoni, Designer and Production Manager
Jason has demonstrated success in helping businesses market themselves through print and online media, having worked for a combined nine years as a graphic designer and web designer/developer for a local media company. He has also been working in Web Design and Front End Development since 2004 on a freelance basis with a client base that spans the state of Maine. He handles every aspect of the process from the initial client meeting to the full deployment and delivery of their web site. At Dream Local Digital, Jason manages all production of graphics, Facebook page customizations, web work, graphic design projects, e-mail campaigns and more.
Dale Landrith, Chief Strategist
Dale grew up in Camden, Maine where he graduated from Camden-Rockport High School. He attended the University of Hartford’s Barney School of Business for two years, and then finished a double major in Marketing and Management at Husson College. Dale has over ten years of strategic marketing and operations management experience, and has worked with numerous companies in manufacturing, distribution, and retail markets. Dream Local Digital is an industry change for Dale as his prior experience has been mostly in Recreational Marine companies, but his extensive experience in business marketing, operations and consulting are a perfect fit for the working with small to medium sized businesses on their marketing strategies.
Mark Whittaker, Senior Marketing Strategist & SEO Manager
Mark loves to use his more than 30 years of experience to help clients communicate with customers and prospective customers. He has been a newspaper writer, editor, online director and consultant. He has a journalism degree from Temple University in Philadelphia and a master’s certificate in Internet marketing from the University of San Francisco. Mark now lives in Pittsburgh, where he and his wife, Susan, spend their spare time learning to live in a house ruled by five cats and a dog.
Jennifer Shone, Business Development Strategist
With her broad experience in the digital, broadcast and print spaces, Jennifer works closely with the Dream Local Digital sales team and new clients to provide customized strategies for businesses and organizations, building out their online marketing programs, and assisting Media Company partners with sales strategies, training, and market launches. She has a diversified media career that includes positions with increasing responsibilities for a metro daily newspaper, a broadcast television station, Comcast, a local media publisher, and two different digital agencies. Jennifer is a Keene State College graduate and lives with her family in Mansfield, MA.
Nicole McQuestion, Business Development Strategist
Nicole is a Partner Business Development Manager for Dream Local Digital, working with media companies across the U.S., to develop and launch digital marketing agencies, forming partnerships to help build new revenue streams for traditional media organizations and enhance their online business models. McQuestion started her career as an ad designer at the Kenosha News in 1997. Since then, she has been involved in many facets of the newspaper business. Over the last 7 years she has worked in the Advertising Department, starting as an Account Representative, and more recently as the Director of Client Media. In her last role she served as the managing director of KN Digital Media, a digital agency division of the Kenosha News. As a Dream Local Digital partner, she effectively sold the product line for more than a year and a half. She trained the advertising staff and worked directly with advertising clients to ensure client marketing goals were achieved through proven strategies in both digital and print. She has been recognized by the Wisconsin Newspaper Association for many award-winning advertising campaigns and received the Bill Payne Award for the best advertisement of the year in 2010. She is a 2001 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Parkside with a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts. In her spare time, Nicole enjoys spending time with her family and watching her son Adam play baseball. Nicole lives in Kenosha, Wisconsin and will be based there helping Dream Local Digital serve clients in the local area and nationwide.
Jessica Greene, Office Manager and Researcher
Jessica has lived in Waldoboro for 25 years with her husband Scott and daughter Paige. She graduated from Medomak Valley High School in 1991, and is currently in her junior year at UMA pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. Jessica enjoys marketing and interned with local businesses in that field to gain valuable experience; she was an intern for Rockland Main Street, and was most recently an intern for Dream Local Digital. Jessica has also owned a successful cleaning service in the area for 10 years. She enjoys spending time with people, reading, and learning new things. She is excited to be a part of the Dream Team and to connect with the local community.
Lisa Davidson, Executive Assistant
Lisa is based in Rockland and will be working directly with Dream Local Digital founder, Shannon Kinney, providing administrative and logistical support for her and the team as well as working on key research projects to drive company growth. Lisa graduated from Thomas college in 2005 and joins the Dream Local Digital team after spending the last three years out of the workforce, with her son. Prior to that she was an operations manager for a tour operator, coordinating group tours for domestic and international markets.
Jeff Howland, Community Marketing Manager
Jeff grew up in Maine and has lived in the midcoast area on-and-off for over 12 years. Since graduating from the University of Maine with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering Technology, he has held positions within the industrial sector, as a software engineer, and the financial and marketing sectors, in a broad range of technology management and client support roles. Currently, Jeff is on the Boards of Directors for two local non-profit organizations in the public affairs and education sectors. Jeff combines his passion for helping people connect, with his love of reading and writing, to form the foundation of his work as a media strategist. Immersed in the social media culture and curating and sharing insights gained through spending his days and nights plugged into the online and print media stream, he works closely with our clients and team to develop and implement online marketing strategies. When ‘unplugged’ Jeff likes to go for a run or sit down with a good book.
Alyssa McCluskey, Online Marketing Strategist
Alyssa has lived in the Midcoast area for seventeen years. Raised in Hope, Maine, she graduated from Camden Hills Regional High School in 2008 and recently finished her Bachelor of Arts degree in English at the University of Maine at Orono. Alyssa has been a part of the local community for a number of years: she was a member of the Pen Bay Sailfish Swim Team for twelve years, and worked for the Penobscot Bay YMCA by helping to develop youth through swimming lessons and summer camp. She was also a member of the UMaine community during her four years in Orono as a Resident Assistant. Her past community involvement gave Alyssa the skills to interact with people, desire to get involved and see local businesses thrive. She is very excited to use her skills as a writer and to learn more about social media to support the community that has made such a huge impact on her life.
Kasey Ahlquist, Online Marketing Strategist
Kasey was born and raised in Maine. After graduating from Scarborough High School in 2002 she attended school in Boston and Maine before earning her Associates degree in Legal studies. She spent several years working as a Social Security Disability Representative, helping clients maneuver the complicated Social Security hearing process. Through this work and several years in customer service in various industries, Kasey has developed a talent and passion for helping people reach their goals. Kasey and her husband just recently welcomed their first baby, a little girl. She is excited to join Dream Local and looks forward to using her talents and enthusiasm to help local businesses grow and thrive.
Katy DeGrass, Online Marketing Strategist
Katy first joined Dream Local Digital as a member of our intern team, providing us with excellent research content and showing an eagerness to learn more about social media marketing. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of Maine in 2009. Since graduating, Katy has split her time between traveling and gaining work experience. In her spare time, she spends a lot of time outdoors, running, hiking, rock climbing. She has a passion for learning and exploring, but also holds on to her love for Midcoast Maine.
Amanda Stover, Client Services & Project Manager
Amanda has over five years of experience in process analytics and project management, focusing her talents on the coordination of tasks and resources to achieve project goals. As a student at Maine Maritime Academy
she studied International Business and Logistics, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in that field. Amanda has been trained in the standards and practices of the Project Management Institute required for the Project Management Professional certification and she specializes in business communication practices and staff education.
Lucas McNelly, Marketing Strategist / Video Content Developer
Lucas grew up in Waldoboro, studied Broadcasting at Geneva College, and then went on to establish himself as an indie filmmaker. During his self-made career he has made a short film

Ian Cook, Marketing Strategist
Ian studied at the University of Massachusetts and the University of Maine in Augusta
earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Audio Engineering. While playing as a professional musician throughout college, he learned the importance of social media as a marketing tool and for connecting people together. While still active in the Portland music scene, Ian had a successful internship
with Dream Local Digital, and he now joins the team full-time, focusing his skills on helping businesses with their social media and online marketing.
Tom Tash, Graphic Designer & Marketing Strategist
Most recently the Recreation Director and Web Designer for the Town of Bridgton, Tom joins the company as a Graphic Designer and Marketing Strategist. He has a background in Recreation Management and Graphic Design and has held positions with the City of Portland and Town of Bridgton. He lives in Winthrop with his wife, Emma, and will work in the company’s headquarters in Rockland, providing creative design services to Dream Local Digital clients nationwide.
Valerie Robinson, Marketing Strategist
Valerie Robinson, most recently a Marketing Team Member at Whole Foods Market Tampa, joins the company as a Junior Marketing Strategist. She has a background in cultural communications, marketing, and hospitality and has held positions in various organizations, such as WWOOF (World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms), and Sweetwater Organic CSA. She lives in Cushing and will work in the company’s headquarters in Rockland, providing social media and online marketing to many of our small business clients nationwide.
