The Challenge:

Carousel Floral Gift and Garden Center hired Post Bulletin, a Dream Local Digital partner, to build a social media presence to increase foot traffic and phone calls. With more than 20 florists in Rochester, MN, and countless online retailers offering similar services and products, the client needed to stand out from the competition.

The Results:

While the Facebook page has been able to engage the store’s customers and serve as a customer service tool for answering questions, the Google+ presence has helped reach the client’s specific goals. By providing accurate contact and map information to Google and keeping the Google+ page updated, we were able to attract customers by making it easy for them to contact the client. The listing sent 2,470 visitors to the website and resulted in 651 calls and 573 requests for driving directions in six months. The accurate Google+ listing made it much easier for mobile-device users to locate and call the business. These results show that Carousel Floral Gift and Garden Center has attracted customers by making itself easily accessible.
