Get to know our newest #HoneyBadger, James.
Like most people from “away,” James was brought here by a Maine Native. He’s a transplant all the way from Oklahoma and you could say “the wind swept him in,” but that might be a little cliché’.
James first began his career in office support for Countrywide Home Loans in Dallas, Texas and this is where it all began for him. Later a relocation moved James to Boston where he worked for an appraisal firm as an Office Manager. He wanted to further expand his education in Business Management and attended Marian Court College in Swampscott, Massachusetts. James graduated with an Associate’s Degree and immediately put it to work. After graduating, a quality of life change is what really brought James to the beautiful coast of Maine. Knowing that Rockland is a thriving community this was his opportunity to reinvent himself as many people do when they come here.
Like most in Maine, we all have a second life outside our daily jobs and his is fashion. James likes reading about color, fit, fabrics, and design. For James, fashion is enriching, as it has so much history. He truly enjoy helping others to maximize their appearance and confidence. He appreciates reading the New York Times fashion section to keep up on the latest trends. James also reads fashion blogs and has occasionally been quoted in the Fashion Flashback section of The Wave.
