Get to know one of our Summer 2017 Interns and #HoneyBadger, Garrett.

Garrett is originally from northern Maine, but he’s spent the last seven years living in Portland. While living in Portland, Garrett graduated from the University of Southern Maine with a couple of Bachelor’s Degrees in Media Production and Communications. He’s always been the kind of person to challenge himself, which is why he wouldn’t settle for one degree and pursued two. He chose media production as his field of study because he’s always been enraptured with the idea of dreams (or visions) becoming reality.

The passion to challenge himself is what generally motivates him and it’s why he was interested in Dream Local. Garrett has worked as an editor for several productions in the Portland area, and has also been a customer service representative over the phone.

His hobbies include gaming and creating his own stories as an amateur writer and content producer. Garrett always tries to take the most positive experiences from everything he does and incorporates them into skills that will help achieve his goal of one day making his own series.
