I have more than 14 years of digital marketing experience working with companies in mobile development, tech, and startup environments. I also have worked for more than a decade in the outdoor recreation industry. I first joined Dream Local Digital in 2014 as a graphic designer and quickly took on a marketing strategist role before being promoted to senior marketing strategist. I left Dream Local Digital in 2016 but returned in 2018 as the marketing manager.
In addition to my time at Dream Local Digital, I’ve also worked as the marketing director for Chimani, a developer of national park mobile apps; Cirrus Systems, a manufacturer of LED technology; and as the recreation director for the Town of Bridgton, Maine.
In my free time, I can be found hiking and exploring national parks with my daughter, Beckett. I also own Acadia East Campground near Acadia National Park. I am a #HoneyBadger because I don’t believe in the word “can’t.” Instead, it’s just a matter of “how?”

I was born and raised in a small town in Midcoast Maine. Looking for more experience and a change of landscape, I moved away from that small town almost 10 years ago. Each year that passed, I knew it was only a matter of time before I returned to my roots and back to the same small town that shaped my younger self. My family made the official move home in July of 2017 and have thoroughly enjoyed every minute since.
Prior to joining the team at Dream Local, I laid my hat in New Hampshire. While there I had the pleasure of designing and developing multimedia, graphics, templates, marketing materials, classroom-based and online training, web, and varying technology products for an array of clients representing nonprofits, government agencies, and foundations that serve both military and non-military cultures.
As a #HoneyBadger, I look forward to leveraging my unique skills and experience to support clients and their missions through a range of technical solutions.
When I am not creating all things digital, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband and our daughter. Most weekends you can find me knee deep in a home improvement project, a pile of dirt or some other type of DIY mission that I am convinced is a good idea.

I’m extremely fortunate to be from Mid-Coast Maine, where the “Mountains meet the Sea.” Over the years, I’ve enjoyed hiking the trails of Mt. Battie, flying high over Kennebunk in a hot air balloon and whitewater rafting down the historic Kennebec River.
Giving back to the community that I live and work in has always been important to me. Since 2005, I’ve been a volunteer and a former board member for Midcoast Habitat for Humanity. In 2017, I was selected as a student advisor for the Olympia Snowe Women’s Leadership Institute. In 2018, I joined the board of the Midcoast Human Resource Association.
For over 20 years, I had a successful career in the financial industry, but now I’m thrilled to be the Director of Operations with Dream Local Digital. I’ve watched Dream Local Digital grow from a local start-up to a national company. I’m eager to work with this team as we further expand our national footprint.

I was born and raised in Maine. After graduating from Scarborough High School in 2002, I attended school in Boston and Maine before earning my associates degree in legal studies. I spent several years working as a Social Security Disability Representative, helping clients maneuver the complicated Social Security hearing process. Through this work and several years in customer service in various industries, I have developed a talent and passion for helping people reach their goals. My husband and I love spending time with our little girl. I am a proud member of the Dream team and love using my talents and enthusiasm to help local businesses grow and thrive.

I’m Sierra Hayes, and I joined the Dream Local Digital team as the Office Coordinator/Executive Assistant in July of 2015. I have since switched positions within the company and am now the operations manager. Dream Local Digital is the perfect fit for me because I love the fast-paced environment and the #Honeybadger culture.
I am originally from Northwest Iowa, but have moved several times in the past few years because my husband, Curtis, was an officer in the United States Coast Guard. I grew up in Iowa, and received my Bachelor of Science degree at South Dakota State University in 2012. Since college, I have lived in Connecticut, Wisconsin, Maine, Washington, DC, Kentucky, and Oklahoma! You could say I have the whole moving thing down.
Before working at Dream Local Digital, I was the Administrative and Logistics Assistant for a large company in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. During this time I realized how much I love administrative and project work, and knew I wanted to pursue something similar when I moved to Rockland, Maine. I am so happy I found Dream Local Digital, because it is exactly what I was looking for.
After work hours and during the weekends, I enjoy spending most of my time outside. When the weather is warmer, you can find me riding a horse, fishing, walking our dogs, Moose and Derby, or finding a new state park to explore. During the winter months, I enjoy ice fishing, reading mysteries, and watching movies.

I live in Portland with my two amazing kids, Jack and Ella, and our rather spoiled maltipoo, Tessa. A born-and-bred “Down Easter,” I grew up in the Jonesport region of Maine, where I have had jobs raking blueberries, making wreaths and even digging clams (for fun, of course!) on occasion. I have also worked in the childhood education field and as an assistant at an art gallery. I spent time studying at both Wheaton College and the University of Southern Maine before settling down to graduate from the University of Maine at Machias with degrees in both English literature and fine arts. I have also done a good bit of traveling. I have spent time in Italy and Sweden and lived in Norway for several months. In my spare time, I enjoy drinking ridiculous amounts of coffee, pretending I know how to garden, being a science and art-history geek, watching too much anime with my kids and attempting to take regular naps. On the serious side, I love to support Maine farmers and local businesses as much as possible. I am proud to be a member of the Dream Local team.

I was born and raised in Massachusetts in a town just outside of Boston. After spending many years living in and around the city, I moved to the beautiful seaside town of Pemaquid, Maine.
For the past seven years, I have worked in development at various nonprofits that have causes that are meaningful to me, including WGBH, MIT, and New Hope for Women. I am excited to bring my previous skills to Dream Local Digital!
Outside of work, most of my time is spent in class or studying, as I am currently enrolled in a nursing program! When I can take a break from studying, I love to visit the beach and lighthouse; cook; go fishing; spend time with family and friends; and indulge in reality TV and documentaries.

I grew up right here in Midcoast Maine and have been a "right-brain" creative human for as long as I can remember. I spent a majority of my childhood in Appleton, where my family lived on a farm with our cats, dogs, rabbits, chickens, cows, and horse. It was during these years that my love and appreciation for the outdoors grew, and also when I first got my hands on a camera. I never got over the joy that photography brought me, and I would continue to explore that realm, regardless of what happened in the years to come. I connected further with friends, families, and strangers through my love of the craft.
After graduating, I somehow found myself in the finance industry; first in mutual funds, then a local community bank. I loved the communications aspect of the positions I held, as well as the support role I played for my teams while working for these companies, but I was always itching for more time to focus on my creative outlet – I had built my photography into a business. After rebranding and relaunching my business in 2018, things began to take off faster than expected, and I knew I needed to find something part time. That being said, I didn't want to jump into another job that wasn't "me." After months of looking, I did not expect to find a position at a company that aligned so much with my personal and professional values, so when I found out that Dream Local Digital was hiring, I knew it was the right move. I'd had my eye on DLD since around 2015 and had seen the growth and reputation flourishing over the years. I knew that the mission and people behind the brand at Dream Local were genuine, and that it was a place I could be proud to be a part of – a place where storytelling and personal branding were held in high regard.
When I am not working, I'm usually doing one of the following: connecting with clients, spending time with my partner and our rescue puppy Kenai, editing a client gallery, eating Ben & Jerry's, listening to a podcast, photographing a wedding, hiking, or watching The Office or Parks & Rec.

I live in Longmont, Colorado, with my husband, our children, and our dogs. My husband and I plan on moving to Maine when all our kids have graduated high school (won’t be long now). We look forward to our yearly trips until then!
Growing up, my mom referred to me as a “social butterfly,” and relationships have always come easily. I will talk to anyone, anywhere, about anything. It seems natural that I would become completely obsessed with the relationship side of marketing found in social media and blogging.
For more than 20 years, I’ve gained experience in online marketing through publishing a personal blog; contributing to online parenting and regional sites; participating in various influencer campaigns, and providing social media and digital support for entrepreneurs and digital influencers. My current passion project is creating and leading a local community of social media practitioners and enthusiasts to enjoy monthly mornings of eating, sharing, and learning.
Known by my colleagues as a collaborative leader and adaptable communicator who’s driven by curiosity, I believe in being kind, staying down-to-earth, and being accessible. My voice is friendly, humble, honest and practical, and my lifelong mission is to help people live a better story.

I was born in Rocksprings, Wyoming. An early transplant to the Midcoast area, I graduated from Rockland District high school in 2005 and continued my education locally while working. After later moving to Denver, Colorado, I worked for Intuit Websites as a web marketing consultant. During this time, I earned a certified Lean Six Sigma black belt from Vanderbilt University, and enjoyed traveling to different locations training and managing web consultants. I gained a deep respect for the small- and medium-size business community, and explored their options to optimize operations, market, and expand these staples of Main Street America. I am excited to work for a thriving digital marketing company and promote the essential services Dream Local Digital offers to American small businesses.
In my spare time, I enjoy the wonderful vistas of Maine, participate and learn about progressional social causes, keep up with the fast-moving moving technology sector, and volunteer to help transport rescue animals from high-kill-rate shelters.

I grew up in the village of South Thomaston, Maine. The youngest of six, I am forever grateful that my father chose to move his family back to his own childhood home after retirement, making Maine my home.
In this community, I have been a field hockey coach, manager of a sporting goods store, assistant manager in a fitness center at a 4-star resort where I earned the Hospitality Award, and a medical billing specialist in a pediatrician’s office. My background in sales, marketing, customer service, and retail management has given me the experience necessary to develop my own small businesses. All of these positions require a dedication to customer service while upholding client satisfaction.
My husband and I have owned and operated a construction company, a home rental business, and an equine boarding facility with 9 horses on 30 acres. We started, grew, and developed these companies to a successful point and have recently sold the last one.
While managing these companies and raising two children, I was a Graphic Editor/Editor for Penobscot Bay Media for 23 years. I provided editing and media support in many aspects of document formatting, graphic creation, learning-tool application support, and maintenance support for the Department of Defense Dictionary. I watched the evolution of web-based solutions as I went from creating graphics for an 8 1/2 x 11 paper copy of a Joint Publication for the Joint Chiefs to uploading figures to a server in preparation of the publication becoming a searchable database.
Enjoying the view of the lighthouse and breakwater from our Owls Head home is what I enjoy most, as well as traveling with my husband, spending time with our children and family, walking the coastline with our two dogs, and taking in the fresh salt air on a daily basis.

I joined Dream Local Digital in late 2010 as a freelance graphic designer. Having spent many years in the media industry as a graphic designer, my role changed to that of a web designer/developer after a company merger. In July of 2010, I was laid off due to downsizing and a chance encounter led me to Dream Local. Since then, my role with Dream Local has changed to that of the company’s full stack developer. I have been working in web design and front end development since 2004 on a freelance basis as well, with a client base that throughout New England.
I was relocated to Lincolnville, Maine, back in 1978 from Sherborn, Massachusetts. Growing up on a farm, I could be found exploring the woods around my childhood home during the day and stargazing in the evenings. Summers were spent helping my dad bail hay in various fields around our community. My family raised cows, chickens, turkeys and they even had a goat.
In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors, hiking in the beautiful Maine woods with my wife, Bri, son Zachary and our greyhound, Joy. My family and I are also avid Geocachers, having discovered most of the caches in the Midcoast area. I also enjoy video games and cooking for my family.
I love working at Dream Local with my fellow #HoneyBadgers, and live in Rockland.

I originally intended to be a theater major, but instead opted for an English degree at the last second. Reading my way through the semesters, I was accidentally introduced to the world of advertising and marketing when assigned to pitch scripts I had written. From that point forward, I knew I had found my calling.
My hobbies involve most everything geeky/nerdy in nature, and my passion for learning Japanese is only rivaled by my deep love for Star Wars. After all, I did change my middle name to Lando. Who doesn’t love the smoothest guy in Cloud City?

My name is Kaitlyn Rolerson, and I’ve lived in Maine most of my life. I was born and raised in Cushing, Maine, and graduated from the former Georges Valley school in 2007. There was a short break from my time in Maine while I attended Gordon College in Wenham, Mass. I obtained my bachelor’s degree in theater arts in 2011 and shortly after returned home to Maine.
For the past years, I provided customer service within the mutual fund industry. This was a dramatic change from my theater background, but an experience I learned a lot from! I look forward to transferring my communication skills to social media and the more creative opportunity that Dream Local presents for me.
I currently live in Lincolnville with my two daughters, three oversized, messy dogs and two cats. We love kayaking, swimming, corny jokes, and meeting new friends. In my “spare time” I serve at a local restaurant because I simply can’t stay away from the food industry! I’m so excited to be joining the team at Dream Local, and I can’t wait to see what this new venture will teach me.

I was born in Princeton, New Jersey, and even though I’m “from away,” I truly consider Midcoast Maine to be my home. Ever since I was young, I fretted about what I was going to do when I grew up, and wondered if I would every be able to find an occupation that would truly make me happy. Fast forward to August 2013 when I started at Roger Williams University. I was much older but I still didn’t know what I wanted to do, and was struggling to choose a career path between biology (I’ve always had this thing for whales) and marketing (a suggestion from my very left-brained father, which was probably the best advice he has ever given to his very right-brained daughter).
I decided to pull in the reins on my run-away imagination and steer the rest of my education through the marketing department. During my last year of college, I was in an Advertising Campaigns class that participated in the National Student Advertising Competition, which caused me to absolutely fall in love with advertising (I knew any class that encouraged one to dress as an “agency creative hipster” was going to be a great fit). This class had me sitting in the same room with the same people for 12 hours at a time, spending two hours fixing copy to return to the same sentence we started with, only to have our professor tell us that he hated it and that we needed to start over again. While this would have sent others running for the hills, I kept coming back for more, not knowing if it was because I was so passionate about what I was creating, or if I was completely crazy. (It was a perfect combination of both.) I graduated in May of 2017, with a Bachelor of Science (ironically) in Marketing, with minors in graphic design and web development. With that being said, I found an occupation that truly makes me happy, and I am thrilled that I get to do what I love every day at Dream Local Digital.
I am very passionate about drinking coffee, Jurassic Park, photography and making people smile. In my free time, I’m attending concerts, taking road trips, playing the guitar, hanging out with my dog or napping in a hammock.

I am a true #HoneyBadger at heart because I don’t take no for an answer and will do whatever it takes to accomplish my goals. I love to travel, and some of my most memorable trips have been exploring England, volunteering in Haiti, and swimming with whale sharks in Cancun. My favorite social media channel is Instagram because I love connecting with photographers from all over the world. In my spare time, you will find me searching beaches for sea glass and fossils, working on my photography, practicing archery, completing 1000+ piece jigsaw puzzles, completing Pinterest art projects, and playing with my cats.

Since my childhood in the small town of New Gloucester, Maine, I've had a roller coaster ride of living and learning. I spent two years studying film production and writing for film/TV at Emerson College in Boston, MA, and then spent a semester studying painting and Van Gogh in the South of France. While abroad, I traveled around France, Italy, and Spain. After a break from school and spontaneous moves from Maine to North Carolina and back to Maine, I got my associate degree at Southern Maine Community College. Now I have recently moved to Charlotte, NC, where I plan to study the Japanese language.
Amidst all this chaos (which I secretly love), I started up my own small business designing and selling lapel pins on Etsy. I grew up in Iowa and am a Midwestern girl at heart, but I’ve also lived in various Western states and spent a lot of time abroad.
When I graduated from college in 2010, I quickly figured out that my chosen degree was not where I saw myself in the long run. That’s when I knew I wanted to work my way into sales and marketing through work experience, without stacking up hefty student loans and college education. I ventured into the corporate world as a sales and marketing director with a large hotel chain. Then I took a regional management position overseeing a multi-location business within a large territory on the West Coast. I fell in love with the relationships I was able to build through marketing, sales, and management positions, and I was driven by the results I was seeing. I decided to go freelance, travel abroad, and help as many companies with my marketing skills as possible. It was during my time with freelance work that I developed a deep understanding of content marketing, specifically search engine optimization. How to rank content, write content, and market that content to the masses. I look forward to using the skills and knowledge I’ve developed to help DLD clients!
When I’m not working, you can find me helping my husband with our MMA gym, indulging in yoga and meditation, as well as spending quality family time with my daughter.
