DENVER – The Local Media Association has announced that Dream Local Digital’s Founder and Client Success Officer, Shannon Kinney, has been elected to the Local Media Foundation’s Board of Directors. Shannon Kinney will be in Denver, CO, at the Local Media Innovation Conference on September 28, where she will be formally announced with other new inductees Eric Bright, Vice President of Marketplace Ecommerce, Deseret Digital Media; Jed Williams, Vice President, Business Development and Strategy, VendAsta; and Gordon Borrell, CEO, Borrell Associates, who will join the Board as treasurer. Borrell is the incoming chair of the LMA, a role that also serves as treasurer of the foundation.
The Local Media Foundation serves as the innovation arm of the Local Media Association. Its training division provides the most advanced digital training in the industry in areas such as analytics, digital sales, social prospecting, Google AdWords certification and much more. To date, more than 2,000 local media executives have participated in one or more of these training programs.

Kinney will work closely with the Local Media Foundation board, using her over 20 years of experience in working with startups and transforming media companies to help the Board.
