Three Interns join Dream Local Digital for Summer Internship Program

Summer interns and #HoneyBadger

Please help us welcome our #HoneyBadger interns to the team this summer!

We have kicked off our summer internship program and are excited to welcome three very talented individuals who are passionate about marketing, social media, photography, animation, and all things creative! Pictured above are our #HoneyBadgerInterns, from left to right: Zachary Liddy-Davis, Stephen Gore, and Lilly Tuell.

Our #HoneyBadgerInterns have the education, motivation, and tenacity that make them #HoneyBadgers. Let’s let them introduce themselves!

Zachary Liddy-Davis

I’m excited to join the Dream Local Digital team for the summer, and happy to see a local marketing group that has national success achieved over the years. With previous marketing experience in various internships and educational opportunities, I’m looking forward to what I can bring to Dream Local Digital and what I can take away at the end of the summer. I am seeking a bachelor’s degree in marketing, I have just completed my freshman year at the University of Southern Maine (USM), and also my first season on the men’s soccer team. It was also my first year on USM’s nationally recognized Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).

Outside of school, I enjoy traveling, spending time in Camden Harbor, and keeping up with everything soccer.

Lilly Tuell

I grew up in the very small, but beautiful, town of Allagash, ME. I graduated from the University of Southern Maine with a bachelor of arts in international relations. I continued my education and earned four certificates in marketing communications, from the New England School of Communications at Husson University. Digital marketing is an opportunity to help others, and their businesses grow to new heights and succeed in what they are passionate about. I am passionate about Maine. I appreciate being outdoors fishing, hiking, mountain biking, and being by the campfire making s’mores! I am a trained park ranger, from Allagash Wilderness Waterway. I also spend time at a dairy goat farm, making chevre and raising baby goats.

I am excited to join Dream Local, as a summer intern. This is the kind of environment I want to be a part of and learn from.

Stephen Gore

My name is Stephen Gore. I am a senior at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, where I am studying for a bachelor of fine arts in animation. I was born in Portland, Maine and grew up in the town of Cape Elizabeth. I graduated from Cape Elizabeth High School in 2014. For as long as I can remember, I have been fascinated by the world of art.

I grew up watching old cartoons and have an affinity for the style of Chuck Jones, John Kricfalusi, and Danny Antonucci to name a few. In my early teens, I took art classes at the Maine College of Art including an animation class, where my interest in animation began. I simply love the idea of bringing the impossible to life, whether it be through animation or any other kind of art form.

During the summer of my junior year of high school, I took an animation class at Maine Media in Rockport, Maine. It was from that experience I learned a lot about the process of animation, and that this was a career path I wanted to pursue.

When I’m not making art, I like to go trail running in many of the beautiful areas of southern Maine to keep in shape. In the summer I spend time at my family’s summer camp on Long Island in Casco Bay reading up on philosophy (especially existentialism), and watching movies both animated or live action. I also enjoy learning to cook with my dad, listening to music (especially on my runs), and playing video games.

We’re looking forward to providing our #HoneyBadgerInterns with a fun and productive summer with meaningful, real-life experience. If you or someone you know is interested in applying for an internship with us this fall, check out our internships page for more information on how to apply.
